Gizmo Godfrey

We came upon him in the Amstar movie theater parking lot one cold November night eleven years ago. We saw him, and Brian drove the car closer to where he was. I rolled my window down and meowed at him. He meowed back, and with formal introductions out of the way, we hurried home (five minutes away) to get a carrier. When we returned, he was going around to different cars and people, seemingly begging for someone to help him but no one would. We got to him, fed him and gave him water. Then we scooped him up and the rest is history. He has been a joy, so floofy and spunky. He had a lightning bolt pattern on one leg in the gray and white fur. His fluffy white beard made Santa jealous. The smallest cat in the house with the biggest attitude. That just made us love him more. He has had a very rough nine months, leading us to today and having to make the decision to no longer allow him to suffer. We will love and miss our sweet Gizmo, aka Amstar Kitty, aka Floofmaster, forever.
